A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01.08.2012, for Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985 and not later than 01.08.1994).
NOTE-I: The above cut off date will be treated as the date of reckoning for OBC status of the candidate and also, for assuming that the candidate does not fall in the creamy layer.

Note II : Candidate should note that the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate only available on the date of submission of application will be accepted by the Commission for determining the Age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted .

SSC CHSL 2012: SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Notification

SSC CHSL 2012. SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Recruitment Notification 2012. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk for which 12th Standard Pass or equivalent is the minimum qualification. The Examination will comprise of a Written Objective Type Examination followed by Data Entry Skill Test / Typing Test . The Commission will entertain only a single application from a candidate. Candidature in respect of multiple applications will be rejected outright without any notice to such candidates.

Important Details:

Fees: Rs. 100/- [Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.]

Closing Dates: 10.08.2012 (upto 5:00 P.M.). For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad – 17.08.2012(upto 5:00 P.M.).

Online Registration: The Facility of on-line application will be available from 14.07.2012 to 08.08.2012(5:00 PM) for Part-I Registration and for Part-II Registration upto 10.08.2012 (5:00 PM).

Confirmation Mail/ SMS: A candidate may receive emails/SMS regarding successful completion of Part-I & II registration of on-line application from the commission.

Dates of Examination: Staff Selection Commission will hold on Sundays, the Twenty First and Twenty Eighth of October,2012 (21.10.2012 & 28.10.2012).

SSC CGL: Posts and Salaries of Jobs Under SSC Combined Graduate Level

Posts and Salaries of Jobs Under Combined Graduate Level Exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Names & Codes of Posts, Classification, Pay Band and Grade Pay, Nature of Physical Disabilities permissible for the posts are:

I. Posts for which Interview cum Personality Test is prescribed: Pay Band –II f 9300-34800

* Nature of Physical Disabilities is as per Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment’s Notification No.16-70/2004-DD.III dated 15.3.2007.

II. Posts for which Interview cum Personality Test is NOT prescribed: Pay Band-I: f 5200-20200

Note I : As per DOPT’s Order No.11012/7/2008-Estt (A) dated 09.04.2009 posts are classified under the Central Civil Services (CCA) Rules,1965 as under :

All these posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL) i.e a candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.

SSC Graduate Level Recruitment Notification 2012: SSC CGL 2012 Recruitment

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be holding Combined Graduate Level Examination,2012 for recruitment to different posts for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification. The Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test, wherever applicable as per the Scheme of Examination. Posts have been placed in two groups, inter-alia, based on their Grade Pay and papers in Tier II examination/Interview. Preference for Posts, is to be indicated in the application. Candidates are requested to note that preference for Posts once exercised will be final. Request for change of preference will not be considered under any circumstance. For the post of Assistant in CSS, candidate shall have not more than three attempts unless covered by any of the exceptions notified by Government of India.
